Wakefield is a straight run from our Leeds yard — down the M1 or the A61 past Outwood — and it's on the rota every working day. The lorries come in past Pinderfields on one side of the city and down Denby Dale Road on the other, so wherever you are between Wrenthorpe and Walton, you're on a route we already drive. Book before 3pm and the skip lands next day; ring early enough and same-day is often on.
The housing here spans a lot of eras and every one of them loads a skip differently. The Victorian terraces around St John's and Wentworth Street sit in a conservation area with narrow frontages — those jobs go on a Wakefield Council permit, which we arrange. Lupset and Flanshaw are classic estate semis with drives, so the skip goes straight on private ground, no permit needed. And the new-build streets at City Fields, out along the old Neil Fox way, keep sending us turf, hardcore and half-finished landscaping — the 8-yarder earns its keep out there.
South of the city is a different job again: Sandal, Walton, Crigglestone and Durkar have bigger plots, and the work runs to extensions, garage clear-outs and full garden re-dos rather than terrace clearances.
